"Крокус" (Crocus): Звіт Коломийського міського благодійного фонду «Крокус»

В Україні до прав людей із особливими потребами ставляться стереотипно та неупереджено. Існує почуття страху і нерозуміння, що призводить до дискримінації людей з особливими потребами. "Крокус" у партнерстві з випускниками Програми обміну майбутніх лідерів (FLEX), Галиною Білецькою і Боженою Овчаренко, був нагороджений грантом, націленим на подолання необізнаності населення про людей з особливими потребами. В рамках цього грант-проекту персонал "Крокусу", волонтери Корпусу миру і випускники Програми обміну майбутніх лідерів (FLEX) звітували місцевому населенню, щоб популяризувати організацію , подякувати волонтерам та донорам, а також проінформувати про проблеми людей з особливими потребами .Американські неприбутковаі організації , як правило, звітуються раз на рік ,щоб заручитися підтримкою і повідомити про свою місію. Ми надрукували 1000 звітів і будемо поширювати їх на теренах Коломиї.

"Crocus" Charitable Fund for Youth with Special Needs - A Report to the Community
In Ukraine, the human rights of the special needs population are hindered by negative stereotypes and societal prejudices. There is a sense of fear and lack of understanding which leads to the discrimination of people with special needs. "Crocus" in partnership with FLEX Alumni, Halyna Biletska and Bozhena Ovcharenko, were awarded a FLEX Alumni Grant to fight ignorance about the special needs population with knowledge and education. As part of this grant project, the team of "Crocus" staff, Peace Corps volunteers, and FLEX Alumni created a "Crocus" Report to the Community to promote the "Crocus" organization in the community, thank volunteers and donors, and raise aware about special needs issues. The Report to the Community is typically issued annually by American non-profit organizations to garner support and raise awareness for their mission. We printed 1,000 reports and will distribute them to the Kolomyia community.
